First Day of Fall
My favorite season is finally here! Well actually, it isn’t here in the Dominican Republic, but all of you are getting to experience it so I am happy for you. Here it is pretty sticky and hot day after day. I only remembered the date of the first day because I noticed it on my calendar. But nonetheless it was fun to daydream of what I would do if by some chance it was here as well. Here are my favorite fall activities. Feel free to borrow my list this season. I won’t be needing it.

Hi Ashley! Your Mom gave me this address and I have enjoyed reading your postings. I am so proud of you for all that you are doing to be in a place you feel called to be even though it is hard at times. I am a fellow Fall Lover and will drink a cup of hot cider in your honor!
Love the kids. Don't worry about the language barrier- they don't mind. It is the love you will show to them that they will remember years from now- long after they have forgotten the words that were said. You are the face of Christ to these kids.
2 Corinthians 2:14 (NIV)
"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him."
Keep up the good work!! We are proud of you.
